This year's suit and clothing vendor is MI Sports in Loveland, Colorado. You may contact MI directly to order additional clothing, suits, etc., and they will let you know current fees (probably higher than the original prices), as well as availability (some items have minimum-order requirements). Speedo Warmup Jackets

This year, these personalized jackets are being given to swimmers & divers who are new to the team to use for four years on the team. These jackets are purchased with money from last year’s team fundraising and the swimmer/diver will be expected to reimburse the team for years not on the team. Each new season only the incoming freshmen (and others who join) will need the Speedo Jackets, and returning swimmers/divers will wear those given to them this year. Most girls also bought the matching pants. If your athlete did not order them and wants to complete the set, she may do so at any time, although the price will likely go up to the normal retail price if purchased outside of swim season. The team will be discussing whether to continue this program going forward.

Note: Any swimmer or diver who does not complete 4 years of high school swimming/diving will be required to reimburse the swim team.

Swim Team Parkas

Full length swim parkas are available for use by swim and dive team members. Quantities are limited and will be distributed on a first come first serve basis. A $125 check made out to Monarch High School will be required as a deposit to be held until parkas are returned. Provided there is no damage, swimmers will get their checks back at the end of the swim season. Betty Sanders is coordinating the parkas this year. Swimmers may contact her @ 303-554-8394 to arrange for your swimmer/diver to pick up a parka.

Letter Jackets

Letter Jackets may be ordered through the Monarch Booster Club. To inquire about prices, styles, and ordering instruction, as well as to arrange a fitting appointment, please contact Nikki at (303) 554-437, nikki68@comcast.net. Plan to bring a check for full payment to the fitting, along with any letter/patches you'd like on the jacket. Allow approximately 6-8 weeks for delivery.

Technical Suits

Speedo has introduced a new technical suit called the LZR Elite. This suit is quite expensive and not recommended for most of the swimmers. USA Swimming considers this suit to be legal and, at this point, CHSAA agrees unless there are changes to the suit specifications. It most likely will not be allowed for summer swimming competition. The sizing is different than standard suits and swimmers must be fitted for it.
