State Championship.  League Championship is the last meet and end of the season for the majority of the swimmers and divers.  Practices continue next week for those on the State Team.  Coach Jay will contact the State Team swimmers on Sunday.  All swimmers who qualified for state in an individual event are included along with selected alternates for relays.  The CHSAA 5A State Prelim Swim Meet is on Friday, February 12 at 4:00 PM.  Class dismiss time for the State Team is at 11:00 AM and the bus leaves at 11:15 AM.  Estimated return is 10:30 PM.  Diving Prelims are on Saturday at 9:00 AM.  Swim and Dive Finals are on Saturday, February 13, at 2:00 PM.  Good luck to the swimmers representing Monarch at the State Meet!

Awards Banquet Date TBA.  We may need to reschedule the end of the season award banquet.  It is currently scheduled for Tuesday, March 2, at 7:00 PM at Monarch High School cafeteria and auditorium.  Stay tuned for more details on this event next week.
