Monarch High School

State Championship. Monarch placed 7th at State - the highest placement for Monarch yet! Cherry Creek was 1st, Regis Jesuit 2nd, Fairview 3rd, Heritage 4th, Rampart 5th, Arapahoe 6th, Boulder 8th, Smoky Hill 9th, and Ralston Valley 10th. Three of the top ten are Boulder County high schools. Five of the top 12 are Front Range League high schools. There were two school records: Anna Labozan in the 200 Free and the 400 Free Relay. Anna had an All American Consideration times in the 200 Free and 100 Free.

Good Luck to the Graduating Seniors! This year, eight seniors are graduating: Swimmers: Whitney Dougherty, Juliana Flores, Kate Hewitt, Cheyenne Michaels, Kiki Turner and Kaity Wegen; Divers: Chelsie Boynton and Melissa Moonie. We'll miss you and wish you the best in the future - come back to visit!

Post Season Swim/Dive Parent Meeting. All parents are welcome at the post season meeting at Pam Tillman's house, 1685 S. Pitkin Avenue, Superior, on March 13 at 10:30 AM. Juniors - Look for Fall Meeting. At the end of August or early September, there will be a meeting of the seniors on the swim/dive team to plan the 2010-2011 season. Swimsuit choice and team gear will be chosen, pasta parties arranged, fun activities and team bonding will all be planned. Check your email at the beginning of the school year.
